Dear Colleagues:
Therapy Providers of America would like to thank you for the time and service provided to your residents. We have serviced your facility for several years through the provision of quality therapy services to your residents. We understand the importance of rehabilitation services provided in your facility and would like to improve our relationship with you. We feel that in order to accomplish this, it would be beneficial if you understood our services better.
Therapy Providers, Inc. would like to assure that you become familiar with our entire scope of services. Currently, Therapy Providers, Inc. contracts exclusively with several Intermediate Care Nursing Facilities, Assistive Living Facilities, and Community Service Agencies to provide skilled and direct hands on Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy services.
The total numbers of clients reside and or are serviced by these nursing homes and agencies are approximately several thousand people. This means we are technically responsible for providing Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy services to approximately several thousand clients that are either Institutionalized in these nursing facilities, Community Independent Living Arrangements (CILA), or throughout the community in private residences. Several of these patients are discharged from the hospital. Admitting these patients into our therapy program
prevents home health and nursing home episodes costs to insurances.
By providing skilled rehabilitation services to patients that are discharged from hospital directly to their resident in non-skilled nursing facilities, Therapy Providers is saving skilled nursing stay cost to Medicare. Each SNF admission cost to Medicare ranges $20,000 to $30,000 depending on the length SNF stay; therefore we believe we save several dollars to Medicare for every dollar of service we bill Medicare for our therapy services in non-skilled nursing homes.
Therapy Providers, Inc. realizes its rapid growth throughout its years of business operation. Recognizing this, we would like to share these positive attributes with you as our client. We feel that being a reputable provider of therapy services is related to several other complimentary services that we provide.
Some of our professional courtesy services include educational in-servicing for facility care givers and residents. These in-services focus on body ergonomics, proper transferring techniques and various tips to remain physically active and functioning. The services we provide to our clients are Physical and Occupational Rehabilitation and/or Restorative Programs. These programs are specifically designed to assist the previously treated patient in maintaining their newly obtained physical functioning capabilities. In addition, we train the staff and or family how to conduct these programs.
Lastly, we provide courtesy consultation services to our nursing homes to reduce and or eliminate red tags received during surveys. This may focus on removing restraints from confined residents, ensuring quality of paperwork and therapy notes done by therapists and periodic DME equipment checks to ensure resident safety.
We firmly believe that our services provided extend past just skilled hands on therapy. It gives us great pleasure to be able to services your residents and/or clients. If you have any questions or need further information, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Shavonne Dorsey
